Hello, and welcome to Riverside Escapes,
We’re Tommy & Ellie, and we’re delighted to welcome you to this beautiful little corner of the world.
Shortly after welcoming our two young children into the world, We talked endlessly of how we wanted to leave behind the hustle and bustle of our busy London commute and be closer to home and our family. So, in 2023 we made the decision to set down new roots in Horning after falling completely in love with its beauty, charm and friendly community.
Riverside Escapes grew from this love of our most favourite place in the world, and we’re so glad you’re considering staying with us. Whether you have come to explore the beauty of the Norfolk Broads, enjoy peaceful mornings watching the boats drift past, or simply slow down for a few days, We look forward to welcoming you and hope you’ll soon feel right at home.

Horning and the Local Area
Horning and the local area have some delicious cuisine and some truly special places that are worth seeking out, From family-friendly activities and historic places to beautiful gardens, independent shops, and memorable experiences, there’s plenty to discover during your stay.
Discover the beauty right on our doorstep, from peaceful countryside paths and woodland trails to scenic routes with lovely views, what a great way to enjoy fresh air and explore the area.
FAQ'S
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 4:00 pm and check-out is by 10:00 am. If you need a different time, message us before you arrive and we'll do our best to help.
Are your breaks suitable for children/Infants?
Of course, let us know if you require a Travel Cot or high chair, and we will make sure this is set up ready for your arrival. We also include a pressure stair-gate for you to put up where you feel it would be most useful. We must stress that due to the proximity of the property to the water’s edge, children must be supervised at all times.
Can I bring my pet?
Yes, well-behaved dogs are very welcome, Let us know when you book so we can get some delicious treats ready.
Do you have mooring available?
Yes, Reedmere has a 30ft x 27ft double mooring, ideal for any boating enthusiasts seeking effortless access to the water, and The Treehouse has a 36ft x 17ft external mooring, with fantastic easy access to the main river.
Do I need to bring cleaning supplies?
Your home will (of course!) be spotless when you arrive, however to help keep you comfortable throughout your stay, We've included all the usual cleaning products, along with a few dishwasher tablets, laundry pods etc so you don't need to pack the kitchen sink!
Are towels and linens included?
Absolutely, all our homes include a full set of plush towels for each guest, and the comfy beds are ready and waiting for you to relax into.
Is there parking available?
Both Reedmere and The Treehouse boast a large private driveway with off-road parking for up to 3 cars each.
Can I fish during my stay?
It’s perfect for it! Fishing is available during the Broads fishing season, and is great for catching Bream, Pike, Tench and many more. Please remember that a rod licence is required.
