Spend the day sailing, kayaking, fishing or hiring a boat, then unwind at one of Horning’s cafés, pubs or restaurants, just 0.5 miles away. Nearby river villages include Wroxham, known as “The Capital of the Broads” (5.5 miles), and Salhouse (6.5 miles). With beautiful waterways and a welcoming village atmosphere, Horning is a lovely place to slow down and enjoy traditional Norfolk hospitality.

This contemporary semi-detached lodge has a quirky reverse-living layout, with all three bedrooms on the ground floor. Two double bedrooms each have an en-suite shower room and patio doors opening onto the rear decking, where you can enjoy views of the waterways. There is also a twin bedroom and a family bathroom. Upstairs, the bright, spacious open-plan lounge and dining area flows into a fully equipped kitchen, creating a comfortable space to cook, eat and spend time together. Large bi-fold doors open onto a south-facing balcony—an ideal spot to enjoy your morning cuppa.

At the rear of the lodge, a large decked area with patio furniture sits beside the water. It is accessed via the side of the property and includes a private mooring. The first-floor balcony offers additional seating, while keen anglers can fish straight from the decking. Roach, perch, rudd and pike can all be found in the water.
